Make sure your trip to the lake doesn't cost you more than you were planning. A common mistake is not paying close enough attention to the main line. While switching out riders, the line has a funny tendency of drifting under the boat. You fire the boat back up and the next thing you know, the prop just ate a $120 tow line. The prop can also be damaged during this unfortunate event costing upwards of $550 - Not Cheap!
So... assign someone on board the responsibility of watching the line at all times and your chances of acquiring a hefty damage bill are greatly reduced.
Assign a flag person also. The more assignments the better. That way you always have your bases covered and each person on board knows exactly what they need to do to help ensure a fun, safe and inexpensive trip to the lake.
